Hogs Split In RFD & Yorkville
Friday, July 2nd, 2010The Hogs moved to 15-5 (Rockford league team splits so games do not count for record) after splitting in Yorkville last night. The Hogs played good defense and pitched well but could not get the bats going. The Hogs are preparing for the Aurora Stars and Stripes Tournament inAurora this weekend and will face two teams ranked in the top 15 in the world in The Bar of Appleton and Aurora D&M Shamrocks.

The Hogs are now 7-3 and will play Tuesday in DeKalb in a Black vs Orange game for the Rockford League.

Black Hogs Splits while Razorbacks Win
Tuesday, May 18th, 2010The Hogs split into two teams for the inaugural wood-bat league in Rockford. Tim Hatten has done another great job of putting teams in a quality league to help the game of fastpitch in the Northern Illinois area.
On the 10th, Brian Tobin outdueled Ray Reynolds 2-1 in 8 innings. Tom Crouch’s single in the eighth drove in Jon Colvin for the win over the BHAC Pride Masters. In the second game the DHer the Masters pounded the Black Hogs 15-1.
Last night, the Razorbacks played in the league and defeated the BHAC Intermediate club 6-4. Vic Flores toof the win and Matt Smith homered for the Razorbacks. The second game ended in a 3-3 tie.
